Who doesn't love green tea? I think everyone loves it. And having a skincare product with benefits of green tea is like cherry on the cake, right.So today I'm going to review green tea mattifying moisturizer from the brand PLUM. So now let's get into the review.

Silicone-free, matte-finish moisturizer with hand-picked non-comedogenic ingredients. Daily pleasant after-feel, non-shiny finish and acne combat.

This is just the light moisturizer that oily skin types had been waiting for. Multi-dimensional care that includes: controlled hydration, non-shiny matte finish, acne (pimples) combat and a fresh, clear appearance.

INGREDIENTS:
Green tea extracts
The anti-oxidants in green tea apply the brakes on oxidation reactions that lead up to bacterial proliferation that in turn cause acne.
Glycolic acid
Preventing acne is better than treating it. Glycolic acid plays an important role in skin renewal and prevents build-up of skin debris that can cause acne.

Aqua (Water), Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ethylhexylglycerine, Fragrance, FDA Approved Colours, Glycerin, Glycolic Acid, PEG 400, Phenoxyethanol, Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine.

HOW TO USE:
Dot your face with moisturizer.One dot each on forehead,both cheeks,nose& chin.That's five dots totally.Now gently massage into skin using finger-tips, in slow upward-outward circular motion. Apply on neck as well.

PACKAGING: It comes in a cylindrical white coloured plastic bottle with a good quality pump packaging . The bottle is very sturdy, slim and fits into the palm perfectly.It's slim packaging makes it travel friendly and occupies less space in the vanity.
CONSISTENCY, SMELL AND TEXTURE: The moisturizer has white creamy-gel like consistency.It has very mild floral fragrance. The cream is very smooth and light in texture.It spreads easily and get absorbed quickly.  

MY EXPERIENCE WITH PLUM GREEN TEA MATTIFYING MOISTURIZER:
I have a combination acne-prone skin type and this moisturizer didn't disappoint me.I have been using this product for straight 2 weeks every morning and night because i really wanted to test this product.Now i can really give you my thoughts on it.

This moisturizer is very light in texture and spreads very easily. It gets absorbed very quickly and leaves my face matte.My face stays matte for about 2-3 hrs and then it is oily again in my t-zone area.But what i love about this moisturizer is that it really prevents acne from occuring because of the main ingredients (i.e. green tea and glycolic acid ).It didn't break me out or caused any allergic reaction.
The only thing that bothers me is it's price especially considering the quantity.

  • light in texture and absorbs quickly.
  • Mattifies the skin
  • Doesn't break me out.

CONS:
  • Costly considering the quantity.
WOULD I REPRCHASE IT?
  Definitely yes.
