I had a love-hate relationship with the term "sunscreen " because none of the sunscreen stand up to their claim.But my thoughts have changed now after using my holy grail sunscreen from the brand LOTUS HERBAL.Yes guys, today I'm going to review LOTUS HERBAL SAFE SUN UV SCREEN MATTE GEL SPF 50. So let's dive into the review.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
An innovative sunblock which is totally non-oily and provides a fresh and clean finish to the face,neck and hands. It protects your skin against varied forms of sun-induced damage : skin tan, sun burn, premature ageing and skin cancer .
Contains the extracts of: Horse Chestnut, Comfrey and Vanilla extracts.
INGREDIENTS:
Water,phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid,sodiumpolyacrylate(and) ethylhexyl stearate (and) trideceth-6,cyclopentailoxane and dimethicone crosspolymer,cyclopentasiloxane, triethanolamine,symphytum officinale (comfrey) extract, vanilla planifolia(vanilla )extract,horse chestnut extract ,methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone,2-phenoxyehanol,aluminium starch octenylsuccinate, methylparaben, propylparaben,fragrance .

DIRECTIONS OF USE :
Apply liberally and evenly on face and exposed parts of body. Reapply frequently,every 2 hrs for best results.

It comes in squeezable orange coloured plastic tube with a flip cap. It is sturdy, travel friendly and convenient to use.
MY EXPERIENCE ON LOTUS HERBALS UV SCREEN MATTE GEL SPF50
As I've said above none of the sunscreen stands up to their claim. Either they breaks me out or some leaves a horrendous white cast on my skin.After struggling with all these things, now i have found my HG sunscreen.
Lotus herbal UVscreen matte gel sunscreen has translucent creamy gel like consistency.It is light weight in texture. It has very mild and pleasant fragrance.It is non sticky and seeps into skin easily. It has SPF 50 PA +++ protection which is ideal .
I just pat the sunscreen on my skin. Never massage or rub sunscreen , always pat the sunscreen so that it stays on the upper layer of skin and protect you from UV rays.By patting it gives even application and less skin irritation and more effective results.
On application, it feels slightly cooling and soothing on skin.It keeps my skin matte for 2-3 hrs. After that i again reapply my sunscreen.It doesn't leave white cast and breaks me out.It helps in sunburn and skin tanning.Overall i like the product.
