Hi my unicorns,
How are u all?  Today I'm going to review Garnier ultra blends Heena & Blackberry Nourishing Shine Shampoo  just for the facts that it claims "PARABEN FREE". Let's  accept  that we all have  grown up using the shampoo having paraben, sulfate etc on our hair and we kinda like it, right. So when i saw this  at a beauty store, i was curious and wanted to try. If you want to know how this shampoo worked on my hair, continue reading.

PACKAGING:
The packaging of the shampoo is very eye -catching. It comes in a beautiful wine coloured see through sturdy plastic bottle. It has a golden flip cap with a leaf carved into it.The bottle comes in various sizes and of course big one is difficult to carry.

MY EXPERIENCE ON THIS:

My hair type:  straight at top and wavy at the bottom with dry ends.
Scalp:  oily 

Garnier Ultra Blends Heena & Blackberry Nourishing Shine Shampoo has transparent light pink gel like consistency. It has a mild floral fragrance of heena and berries. It is runny in texture and lathers very easily on wet hair and easy to wash off.

I have been using it for a months now and it makes my hair scalp feel squeaky clean. I need two wash if i have oiled my hair otherwise one wash is enough for me .

After drying, my hair felt shiny and a little voluminous but i did feel frizziness  & dry next day. So if you have frizzy hair you have to use conditioner for sure. I use conditioner from dove range from that day. And then i apply some leave on serum like livon or pantene oil replacement on my damp hair. After that my  hair feels soft and tangle free.
One thing i have noticed that i don't felt hairfall issues that much considering the mumbai monsoon weather. And i don't felt itchiness on my scalp post shampoo.

 Though it claims paraben  free but it also contains a lot of surfactants which is not good for hair . Overall I'm not a big fan of this shampoo and i think my normal shampoo works better than this.

  • adds shine
  • makes hair voluminous 
CONS:
  • contains SLS
  • hair feels dry post wash if don't followed with conditioner
WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?:  Yes, to those who wants shine and lustre on their hair and who have really oily scalp.

 WOULD I REPURCHASE IT?:  NOT, instead i will try some another brand shampoo .
